There are such adapters available but they are not converters, they will not enable you to connect an external USB device such as a HDD or keyboard to a computer, a couple of reasons for this that come quickly to mind are the fact that they both use different types of signal to communicate with the computer, the types of MB chips that USB and communication ports use are both different and the amount of power the two types of port use are different.
