I am not able to access the internet. I called my cable company and they think it is a firewall issue. Dell said the same thing. I tried removing Norton's but it said some components are missing and for me to reinstall it. This is a 2004 version of Norton's. If I reistall it can I then remove it and access the internet? Can I use a 2005 version to reinstall? I can only access the internet in safe mode. Thanks for your help.

Do you have XP?

See if the Windows Firewall is blocking it.
