Hi all,
So I have this issue with my Dell Inspiron N5110 where if its plugged in into a power source (i am still using the original adapter i got with the laptop) the CPU jumps up to 100% and basically stays there. I've had the laptop for around 3 years now so a fully charged battery lasts me about 10~5 min - and its not even charging!
I've had the not charging issue once before when the battery could still function and last around 2~1.5 hours, but I have no idea how I fixed it or even if it was something I did, and since then my laptop ran well and charged well every time for months.. Anyway, now it seems like the not charing issue is back and taking out the battery and running the laptop directly from the power source still keeps the CPU at ~100.
A temporary fix to the not charging issue.. unplug the power adapter from the laptop and wall, and leave it for a while..then if i plug it all back in it charges - this doesnt always work though..
So please if anyone has come across or knows the problem and how to fix it, help me out.

I saw a similar thread here http://www.geekstogo...er-plugging-in/ with a suggestion from Brian_Toast about the security log in event viewer, but it wasn't overloaded so clearing that didn't fix it

In regards to processes, sometimes an svchost.exe peaks CPU, and currently mscorsvw.exe has been top of the CPU list for a while now..dont know if that has anything to do with the charger
