I have just purchased Trendnet USB Dial-up Modem.  As opposed to modem card that I had before which had to ports, one running from telephone line into one port, and a cable running from other port to telephone, this USB Modem only has one exit port.  Technician has advised me to procure a USB splitter with two extra out-ports with no tgelephone line ports.  In order for my Internet Call Manager to work properly do I connect my phone line as usual and leave the exit port(to the telphone) empty and place a phone line splitter on my wall jack and connect the phone there?  Any advice would be appreciated.
