Hi there, I have recently rebooted windows xp and I have got a problem the screen such as the desktop isnt filling up the computer screen and so I am having a black border around the screen of my laptop with the xp showing in the middle of that border could you please tell me how I can fix this problem or how I can change the screen resolution.

try cahnging resolution by right clicking the desktop then clicking properties a screen will pop up the last tab should have the screen res there raise it then c what happend

Howdy:

If you right click on any area of the desktop and select "Properties", then open the "Settings" tab, what does it say in there for your "Screen Area" ??
