I want to replace my existing master hard drive with a new 200g drive but could need help in replacing some 40 odd programs. Can I make a copy of four partitions (excluding c which I know I have to reinstall XP from scratch) and copy back the contents of these partitions to matching partitions on new drive. Can someone suggest softwear that is easy to use (I have a copy of Norton Ghost 2003 but have not used it as I don't understand DOS at all) - willing to buy any softwear that has been tested and is easy to use. I am not experienced in this and have never done this stuff before. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello and welcome to Geeks to Go! :tazz: I'm kool808

For the partitions you can use Partition Magic 8, from Power Quest. Or read articles HERE.

Also read about Acronis True Image.
