I have just installed a second hard disk with windows 7, having windows XP on the other disk to run older programmes.
I can select which disk to boot from by changing priority in BIOS but this is a bit clumsy.
Years ago when I first installed windows (3 I think) I wrote an "Autoexec.Bat" file which asked for alternative 1 or 2 at startup.
Can I do this now? I cannot remember how I did it.

Start > Run > input "msconfig" > Boot(.ini) > input the path to the second OS there
