Writer Woes

Hi,

To start with, I have a AOPEN COM5232/AAH DVD Combo writer... And I have a problem with it!!!! :tazz:

Whenever I try and burn a VCD using NERO or any other Software... The Writer only burns an Image of the VCD on the Harddisk! Its not actually writing on the CD

I have tried all possible softwares, yet I get the same Issue coming up everytime I try to use the Writer...
If want to just write some files on the CD, then I use the Win XP default option "Write these files onto the CD"!!! And it works that way! But I am not able to burn any VCD Using the Software...
Any suggestions are welcome!!! Please Help!!!

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. I think I would start by looking at the setup options of the software you are using. Does Nero see the drive? Have you looked at Aopen web page for information on this? Perhaps it is a known issue with this drive that they have a solution for?
