External Drive Issue.... Please help me

I been checking around on boards the last few days to try to solve my problem but no luck so i'm gonna adress the issue.

I bought a Western Digital 200 ide HDNewegg-WD200 and a Bytecc ME-7050 series external enclosureNewegg-External Closure. I connected the drive where my slave drive is now, partitioned it to G and formatted it. Plug in and play installed the necessary drivers for me, USB mass storeage device is working properly it says in the device manager and in Computer Magagement it shows drives C and D basic and online but G is dynamic and offline. It's driving me mad trying to figure this out from the message boards i've been goin onto. Someone please help!

PS what should i have my jumpers set to as well?
