I am trying to figure out what graphic card can go with this motherboard. It says 3.0 SLI. But I am trying to figure out the bit. MY old motherboard was a 256 bit but I am totally building a new desktop!  Could somebody tell me what bit this motherboard takes? I'd hate to buy one and it not be compatible with it. Thanks again guys!

But i want to save money on the psu.. would 850W or 1000W be enough to support all of this? or should i stick with the ax 1200? Thanks!!!

My budget is at $2,200. I am purchasing hardware online via Newegg.com, my computer will be strictly for gaming and I am located in the US!!

Looking at this site with there new test platform, much beefier than your proposed, testing R9 290 CF.

Note the change from the old PSU to the Corsair AX860i

The total system draw was 743W. = 61.9.   if you take the draw from the R9 295X x 2 = 793W = 66 Amps, the AX860i rated at 71 Amps, still gives you wriggle room.

I would choose the AX860i.
