Trovi is regarded as foistware, part of Conduit.

 

We need to have a look at what's on your machine and then take action to remove it.

 

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool from here and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.
 

• Right click to run as administrator. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
• Press Scan button.
• It will produce a log called (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run from.
• Please copy and paste log back here.
• The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please also paste that into your reply.

Dear Emeraldnzi ;

 

Thanks for response to my question re deleting pesky Trovi malware from my system.  I printed up your response and will follow your recommendations.  Will let you know if successful or if I need added help.

As I said in my last post, we need to look at what's going on with your machine so that we can take action.

 

All those instructions do is run scans.

 

Once you post the scan results back here I can look at the logs and compile a fix for your computer.

 

Even then, that will likely not be the finish. We often have to carry out multiple actions to clean a machine properly.
