hi can anybody help me I set up an account with an employment agency on my laptop using windows 8 put in my user name and password and accessed the account check everything was ok .tried to access the account again an error came up saying wrong user name and password ask for new password but could not log in. setup the account on my home computer using windows 7  and I can access the account any idea what the problem could be

That is strange did you try with a different browser on the Windows 8 machine?

Sorry guys, I understood that he's trying to say that he messed up logging into the newly created user-account and I asked him to read the TOU.

I can only add, no computer help site I know of will or should help with password issues or bypassing passwords as a general thing. I expected and see the same here.

However, considering this is a website and not a computer he is trying to access, we can still suggest things such as :-

Have you tried the same user name and password on the Windows 8 machine that works OK on the Windows 7 one? If the password and user name are the same, but still locked out on the Windows 8 computer, try clearing cookies and temporary files on it.

The OP is trying to log into an employment agency and having issues, not into the computer.  Your comments in post #7 show you have not read the request and understood it.
