Hey folks, I have this strange issue - I get limited connectivity for my Wifi network everytime  when the charger is not plugged in.

My network adapter is: Atheros AR9485WB-EG Wireless Network Adapter and my laptop model is Asus K55V.

Tried updating the drivers but with no help.

Any ideas what could be wrong?

Hello NoLimits :welcome:

This is the normal behavior of Windows is will reduce the power consumption to increase battery time.

In some cases this could lead to losing the wireless connection if the connection signal isn't strong.

Depending on the wireless driver it could have some options related to power settings, check the Atheros AR9485WB-EG device Properties on the Windows Device Manager another possibility is to change the Windows power options, check the following article Setting wireless adapter power management
