Hello every one. 

I am trying to diagnose my laptop .it is a 5742g acer 

Recently my OEM battery went bad ( had the icon at the bottom right on the screen 100% charged, consider replacing battery )

I have play this game on my laptop for quite a while not and this just started recently .I play an online game Path of exile and When I would play the game the laptop would stop charging and run on Battery power only till it died. I could do anything else and not have a problem. Watch movies on line play less demanding game  with out a problem. 

I bought A new OEM battery and a new after market power adapter 90w same as OEM .But I am still having the same problem . My power supply is getting very hot. I have also ran  a program to monitor  my temps( all are fine )  

I just don't know how to tell if my laptop is causing the power supply to over heat and shut down or if the power supply is just not putting out the wattage the laptop needs and making it's self shut down , or if it is a failure with in the laptop.

 

 

Any ideas ?
