Title pretty much says alot of the problem.

1st b 4 xp pro:   PC came from ebay win, really had/has a lot of stuff I don't use (Less is more to me when using pc's ~~ I miss 98se days of, "Oh well, just reformat & start a new.).

1st too much stuff on it for my likings.... & unsure what I need to keep so as not to misfunction.

PC fell of ledge, lcd not working well (BIG cracks), obtained another pc, BUT plug the old satelite in tv flat & works pretty good.

Thought I would start from scratch, NOPE!!!  That idea didn't work so good, or does, resulutin issues, but no biggy.

Attempted to do the "Power + 0" but due to my attempting to run off a boot disk repair yesterday, didn't realize one of the unmarked cd's in my bag, was a XP pro OS, & so now, after I hit power, if I hit F8, it wants to let me pick between home or office xp.

It's been a 24hr. rodeo, I'm tired & give up.

Would really like to get this back up plan pc up & running so my husband can play fb games on it, & I can keep my other for Ebay.

TY

:welcome:    phyroony

If I understand you correctly you wish to remove XP Office Pro that has been installed on a seperate partition from XP Home, if yes please refer to the Microsoft guide here

Hopefully that is what you were asking, either way let us know how it goes or if I have misunderstood.

Ok, will try.  I truly don't know.  Thought my OS cd would work, but then got info that it was just a home, & pc had pro.... It's bad enough that the silly thing has a cracked lcd, & when hooked up to flat screen tv, it works but dances around a bit.  TY will post up date in day or two...

From your OP

if I hit F8, it wants to let me pick between home or office xp.

Please confirm whether or not you have installed XP Pro or XP Office Pro, the latter is not an OS.
