shrinkling vob files

recently i got a few old home movies from israel (my cousin sent them to me on CD) theyre in an avi formative used divx to dvd converter to get them to vob format so i can burn, my prob is ive got 3 files each around 2.2gb, i wanna fit them on one 4.5gb dvd, is there any way i can compress the vob files?

Download DVD Shrink (Search Google). Excellent for your needs.

also try afterdawn.com its great for dvd problems and conversions from avi to mpeg to divx. give it a try, it has a great knowledge and forum base.

There is also a very basic program that works quite well called DVD2one.
Its user friendly and it successfully shrinks very large VIDEO_TS Folders down to 4472Mb which will then fit perfectly on a 4.5Gb DVD...
