Hi, 

 

I Really need help with my computer.. I just dont understand whats wrong with it.. My Wifi was completely fine and working up until two months ago when I moved, I changed internet companies.. All my other products at home have had no problem connecting.. I can plug my computer in and it connects to the internet, but as soon as I unplug it and try to go wireless it says local access only and wont let me Actually get on the internet.. Its a Compac presaria CQ50.. thats about all i know, and ive done everything from factory resetting, to every trouble shoot i can find.. SOMEONE HELP PLEASE!

Have accidentally switched of the wireless connection?

With the laptop open, to the right of the power on button, is the wireless button blue or red?

Have you tried using the Wireless Assistant?
