Was wondering if anyone could assist me with an issue going on in my system? I am unable to upload, download or save any files. Operating a Sony Vaio touch screen & running Windows 8. Can’t receive update to 8.1.

 

Thus far have cleared Internet Cache, Temporary Files, Cookies, History, etc, using Disk Cleanup tool and Optimizer.  Also manually to the beginning of time.  Chose a different download Location & Browser. Disabled Firewall and antivirus security software temporarily to see if it would get the download. Viewed Internet Properties/Custom level to make sure downloads were enabled. Reset all zones to default level. Have 810 GB free of 921 GB in the hard drive.

 

When attempting to upload attachments, the drop menu does not appear. Also unable to save new Microsoft Word or Excel documents.

 

Any advice?
