Annoying blank popup window [CLOSED]

Dear All,

Having looked through your site and tried to find answers to my annoying problem I feel that I should now post here as I'm at my wits end.

I have this small popup on the task bar evey couple of minutes, it stays for about 3-4 seconds then goes. There is no name on the application. I have looked through task manager but it does not appear.

I have run adaware, spybot, etc scanned with online scans and nortonAv but still nothing appears to be infected. The only thing that I have done is to install an new HP printer - I have seen that some people are having problems with hpcmpmgr.exe but when mine is scanned it is OK.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have tried also CWShredder etc as directed on the sticky but still no good.

:tazz: This is a problem for some users. It's actually not spyware or anything like that. It is the HP printer.

OK, go back to HijackThis and run a new scan. Check these (one of these is responsible; I think it's the second one, but fix both - no harm):

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [HPDJ Taskbar Utility] C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3\hpztsb11.exe

Close all open windows except HijackThis and hit Fix Checked button.

Restart and see if any popups still come up for HP.
