Ok, I think i need to start another post in the malware part of this forum. Everything was perfect on my computer until i started messing with IE again. Now i feel as if i have 7K things running at one time. Internet Explorer is dead in my book. There was a reason i stopped using it. Once that problem gets fixed i would apriciate if you could give it another stab Doc. If your still up for it?

Sounds like a great plan. (Almost mentioned it yesterday). ;)

And yes, I'll still be around if you need further assistance.

Hey Doc,

Well i had a guy on here that walked me through how to clean my desktop. He Has done an excellent job and my computer is the fastest computer i have ever seen...Lol Maby not that far, But he did a wonderful job and it is running like a new computer now. Now my only problem is i still can not access the banking website. Firstarkansasbank.com i have asked the man with the plan the same question, But i figure 2 heads are better than 1. :) I am just out of the ideas. Joe

In IE, click Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Reset... button. Select "Delete personal settings", click the Reset button, then restart IE and try getting to https://www.firstarkansasbank.com/.

In Firefox, click Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled... then try going to https://www.firstarkansasbank.com/

If neither of those work, reboot the computer in "Safe mode with Networking" and see if you can get to https://www.firstarkansasbank.com/ in either IE or Firefox.

Hi Joe. Moved into here as there is no further malware issue.

Also try the following

Administrator Command Prompt
Click start, search and type cmd
When command prompt shows in the listing, right click it and selct run as administrator

Type each line one at a time and press enter after each line:

netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns

Reboot the computer and then see if it works.

If not then type or paste this into a command prompt.

tracert firstarkansasbank.com > C:\Users\GhettoWatta\Desktop\trace.txt

Paste the content of the file trace.txt that will be created on your desktop.

Also try rebooting your router if it hasn't been turned off for a while.

Ruggie i did as you said, The Command prompt with each and every one of the commands you suggested with restart.

And Holy Grail.........After the restart i didn't open geekstogo as i normally do with startup. Typed in the website and BAMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am on my banking website! Thanks you fruity man. If i ever come to the UK i will be buying you all the beer and fruit you can eat & drink!

You are the man!

I can't thankyou enough...

Telling you that you’re “appreciated” does not do your service justice.

You’re the best!
