Using .bat to add/remove a display

i have some Command and Conquer games that have graphics issues with my computer. To fix them i add an external duplicate display, which doesn't actually exist.

Currently i have to add the display every time i want to play, then remove it when i'm done playing.

Is there a way i can add and remove an external display using a .bat file?
