I feel that we are looking at system problems here as opposed to malware so that is a small bonus

Download Windows All In One Repair from Tweaking.com to your desktop
Install the programme and run
Select Step 5 : Back up your registry and create a system restore point
waiobackup.JPG

Then select the Repairs tab

waiorepairs.JPG

Select Open repairs

Select the following repair number items :

1
5
7
13

Click Start

waiorepair.JPG

Once it has completed then reboot the system

So we are now looking at an overall slowness and flash not working

What I will do now is disable a few tasks to see if that resolves the flash and internet problem

CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

CreateRestorePoint:
Task: C:\Windows\Tasks\Adobe Flash Player Updater.job => C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe
Task: {6B5A8226-4ED8-4773-B4D3-850F14717527} - System32\Tasks\Adobe Flash Player Updater => C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe [2014-12-10] (Adobe Systems Incorporated)
Task: {4042CF67-11E8-4F7F-90BF-98EF0354C10C} - System32\Tasks\{AD1F4613-A8EB-4AF6-99A3-C4055DE26CBD} => Iexplore.exe http://ui.skype.com/...all?page=tsMain
Task: {5F98611D-9A85-4B20-87EE-4717D51B0697} - System32\Tasks\avast! Emergency Update => C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\AvastEmUpdate.exe
Task: {B8BE6929-A957-43EF-9CAD-0EB71CC423F6} - System32\Tasks\{006C5A2A-39A6-4036-BF99-7135EF1EAE6F} => pcalua.exe -a "C:\Users\greg & jacki\Desktop\sp55109.exe" -d "C:\Users\greg & jacki\Desktop"
EmptyTemp:
CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe
FRSTfix.JPG
Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that

When you uninstalled/re-installed flash did you use the standalone uninstaller http://helpx.adobe.c...er-windows.html

Yes try that as a normal uninstall leaves bits behind and they can be corrupted

did as you said, same problem exists, some flash games work, others don't. I even tried them on the web in the stand alone mode but same problem.

https://apps.faceboo...t=0&fb_bmpos=_0 is one of the games

https://apps.faceboo...t=0&fb_bmpos=_0  is another

I also noticed that when I right click on the games that do not work, I cannot open the top settings choice

i also tried using FB with firefox and after allowing the flash plug in, i am able to play the games that do not work in IE11

OK that is a nice clue... First back up your IE bookmarks

A quick how to here http://www.7tutorial...net-explorer-11 it will only take a moment

Close IE
Then go to control panel > internet options > advanced tab
Click Reset
Then OK out

Now try the flash games again
