I recently started having the popup that either opens a new tab and is a "security" ad to sell or scan your system. Or it opens a video ad at the bottom of your screen that plays that you cannot seem to stop. Or I'm getting the middle of the page pop up that there are infections on my computer. I know they must be related. I updated my norton definitions and ran a deep scan. I deleted a couple of bogus software programs with revo uninstaller. I even deleted Chrome. But, I appear to still have issues.

In addition....I don't know if this is even related, but I have a 320 gig hard drive on this thing and it's saying there is only 10g left? I just recently moved all my pictures and music to an external hard drive because it said I had 0 space a couple of times! I went through each folder that I could think of and looked at the properties. I don't have anywhere near 300g used! I hardly even have anything left on here that I'm aware of. And now, of course, I'm concerned that I may have a virus on my external hard drive! Good news though is that I moved those files before I had any of the popup stuff. Though the fact my computer said I had zero space may have been it all along, idk! I appreciate it if you have any insight about this one!

Thank you so much for your help and all you do!!!

Susan
