OK.  Looks like the folder isn't really there.  Probably part of your hard drive failing.

We can try one other thing:

If you right click on it and select Properties do you get a properties window?  If so click on Security and see if anyone has full control of the folder.  Then press Advanced and then on Owner.  Try to take ownership of the folder.

Results upon clicking Security tab:

"The requested security information is either unavailable or can't be displayed."

Just wondering here if this mystery folder is nothing more than a thumbnail icon.

The only way to delete them is through the disk clean up system.

To use that, click "Start" > "All programs" > "accessories" > System tools" > disk clean up. Select the drive, and click OK. In the next window make sure there is a tick for "Thumbnails" then click OK.

See if that gets rid of it for you.

Nev.

Hey, RK, I realized I never updated you...

So, I duplicated my old drive onto the new one...and that folder is STILL There! I was hoping it'd skip it.

That said, overall, things are working much better. So thanks for all of your help!

Did you run a disk check after you replaced the drive?

Hey, R, sorry I never got back to you on this...I absolutely, completely and 100% forgot about it. I feel bad about that, you were great to try and help me out.

(I only remembered now, b/c I posted a query in the malware area.)

So sorry, just been dealing w/some things at home. Will try to run a disk check later tonight. If I get anything, I'll let you know, if not, I'll just live with it!  ;]

Thanks again!

Hi again. The day I posted the above, my dog hurt himself jumping off some steps, so I've been a bit preoccupied.

At any rate, no effect.

Meh. No a big deal...thanks for all the help!
