:tazz: Okay. I need help. I am computer literate to a point, but not like all of you are.

I got an infection in my computer and had someone come out and fix it. But I am still getting pop up ads. Somehow, and I think it is FunWebProducts, will not leave my computer. I have Spybot S&D and it found it, but is unable to remove it. I have done everything that says how to remove it, but it will not go away. I went to Add/Remove Programs and it is not there. It is stored in my memory. I also have AdAware and of course my Anti virus software. I just got HiJack this, but I do not know which ones to delete, so I have not deleted any. Here is my log;

Hello Michelle (mrich 1234) and Welcome to Geeks to Go

A couple of entries within your log are a little strange. Before we go any further, would you please carry out the following instruction.

*Please go to HowToTell here (Microsoft website) using Internet Explorer ( not Firefox or any other browser as they won't work)
*Click on "Windows Validation Assistant"
*Click on the "Validate Now" button.
*Be patient while the ActiveX loads, do not click on any links.
*Read the instructions on this page while it's loading. You will be prompted to install - click YES.
*Enter your product key then click "continue"
*When it says "Validation Complete" please click "Continue to return to your previous activity"
*Copy what it says and paste it here.

Thank you for your co-operation.

"Edit,
As there has been no reply from the original poster this topic is now closed,
Should you have any further problems please create a new Topic,

Thanks "
