No freezes since nearly 10 days. But, as always, a new freeze. Again when Chrome was opened. So, I will use FireFox from now on to see if Chrome is causing these issues. Just problems with this built.

Try using HWMonitor with Chrome and see if it still freezes.

I will test it as soon as possible but I made a new experience. FireFox doesn't freeze so far but generates graphical bugs. oO

Don't worry I didn't forget it. I will wait two further weeks. I tested FireFox for more than 10 days without any freeze.

iammykyl,

Try using HWMonitor with Chrome and see if it still freezes.

Do you think this is still to do when FireFox works? I have no freezes with any other program, just with Chrome.

After changing to HWMonitor, does Chrome still freeze?

Takes some time, but you could try using clean boot to see if Chrome is not compatible with a program, (Chrome should be the first program you restart) > http://www.eightforu...indows-8-a.html

So, just open HWMonitor and then trying to use Chrome? Are there any special settings needed or not? :)

Thanks

No, Start HWMonitor, then Chrome and see if it freezes.

Start Core Temp, then Chrome, and see if that freezes.

I have now tested it some time with CoreTemp, no freezes. Tomorrow I will test it with HWMonitor.

But as I said at the beginning of the thread. Sometimes it worked for days without any freezes.

see if we can get some info as what is causing the freeze.

In the run box, copy and paste eventvwr.exe   How to use, > http://www.howtogeek...-a-pro/lesson3/

Run the Realiabilty Monitor, How to use, > http://www.makeuseof...bility-monitor/

Thanks for the update Gerrit  .

If you get further problems, I think best to start a new topic as issues may not be related, and get fresh eyes from other members.

Good luck.
