its a lot quicker. still getting moments of not responding in some programs, but they do recover now. and that click to run popup still appears. but its a whole lot quicker

That pop up click to run is probably caused by this program in you programs an features list

Microsoft Office Click-to-Run 2010

Office Click-to-Run is a new way for broadband customers to obtain Microsoft Office and to update Office 2010. Office Click-to-Run uses the virtualization and streaming technologies of Microsoft.

If you don't use it you could uninstall it.

Hi sorry for the late reply, I have been away.

 

thanks for your help the notebook runs a lot quicker. I still get hanging programs from time to time with the not responding, but im past caring anymore, if it gives me any more problems I will just buy a new one :-(

OK.

 

Lets clean up the tools we used,

 

Download DelFix by Xplode and save it to your desktop.

  • Run the tool by right click on the 51a5ce45263de-delfix.png icon and Run as administrator option.
  • Make sure that these ones are checked:
    • Remove disinfection tools
    • Purge system restore
    • Reset system settings
  • Push Run.
  • The program will run for a few seconds and display a notepad report.
    Paste it for my review.

I've done everything I can do with this netbook, they do tend to slow down because there small systems.
