To whom it may concern.

This is my first time on here. I have a problem installing Internet Explorer 11 on the HP Pavilion Media Center a1612n desktop computer. I am using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Every time I tried to install IE11 from the updates it gives me an error. I do have a CBS Log from last Friday as well as an IE11 main log.

I can confirm the presence of malware on your system. Do not be alarmed, as I feel very confident that you will receive the help you need to clean your system on these forums. :yes:

I request that you uninstall Bing Bar and then CLICK HERE to follow these instructions on how to remove File Type Assistant.

If you continue to experience problems and/or are not able to upgrade to IE11, then I highly recommend you create a new topic in the Malware Removal forum by following the instructions HERE.

Thank you very much, Fusionbomb.

I uninstalled the Bing Bar as well as removing File Type Assistant. Then I downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Malware which detected four things. Cleaned them up. Now I am going to try to install IE11 and hope for the best.

I did try to install IE11 again from Windows Update after I uninstalled Bing Bar and remving File Type Assistant as well as downloading Malwarebytes Anti Malware. It still gave me an error 9C59. I do have another thread about Malware when I ran FRST yesterday.
