how did you get the game??? you fail to tell us that???? to simply remove mods, go into your program files folder, or wherever you installed the game to ... then there are usually a mod folder that holds all the mods in there, look for an uninstall if anything or if not if you know the name of the mod, right click ...... delet..... simple

First. I want to say I'm a rather old person--And cannot figure out how to reach any folders of any type on my computer...I'm utterly clueless. I've read the topics above, and seen how people ask for the following information:

How I got the game : My son baught it from Wal-Mart and did not like it--And knew I was a large Motherland History lover--So he gave it to me to try out.

What Mod I have downloaded by accident on multiplayer : I honestly don't know--I clicked a server named 'GRZ-PU' In TDM, and ended up having my background changed--my gameplay changed--my games I can enter limited.

Why I want help : Because It is annoying me--And I get bored quickly, And I want to be able to play COD2 online without having much trouble...

If you respond to this--PLEASE keep in mind I do not know-nor have I ever operated a computer until a few months ago--And am having alot of trouble running my way through it..I can reach 'My Computer' and I open the 'COD2 MAIN' File--I don't know what to do from there..please give thorough instructions on where I should go!

To be honest with ya, the best way for you to do it is by uninstalling the game and reinstalling it.
I am going to guess that you are running Windows XP.

Go to your Control Panel
Click on Add/Remove Programs
Scroll down the list until you see Call Of Duty 2
Click on it and click on add/remove
It will remove the program, but might tell you all the files couldn't be removed.
Close that off.
Click on the Start button and go to My Computer.
Double click on Local Disk (C:)
If it says that the files are hidden, click on Show the Contents of this folder.
Double click on "Program Files" folder
Look for a folder called Activision or Call of Duty 2.
........If you see an Activision folder, double click on it. You should then see Call of Duty 2.
Click on the Call of Duty 2 folder and press your delete button, and delete the whole folder.

From here, I would reboot your computer. Once that is done, reinstall the game from the CD, and you are now set.
If anyone wants to add to this, feel free.

Hope it works out for ya.

P.S. - It doesn't matter how old you are, what matters is that you are trying to learn. You have to start somewhere. What better way to do it than a good game like Call of Duty! :)

Thanks for replying! But one more question: How do I 'reboot' my computer? and what are the results of a reboot?

Just restart your computer!
Sometimes, for changes made to your computer(in/un-installing software)to take affect, you need to "reboot",simply restart your comp.
Cheers
