Help! Strangely, after my Norton Virus Update subscription ran out, I am unable to access MSN and am getting lots of Packard Bell 404 errors using IE. Having received excellent feedback from MSN, I ran thro their checks and was getting http connection failure. XP allows Administrator or Limited accounts, Norton will not let me turn it off because I am not a 'Supervisor' . As an administrator I decided to remove Nortons but its not highlighted in add/remove. Symantec support is useless and I dont want to pay. Also, the Nortons menus display errors, one part says the firewall is off, another says it isnt. I dont want it!! It came built in - Nortons Int Security and Anti Virus 2004.

I am pc illiterate, love my mac, and absolutely wish I hadnt wasted my money on the laptop!

Can anyone take pity and help me? I am going around in circles... :tazz:
