Please bare with me. I'm exhausted. My Husband and I have been hacked. Locked out of all devices. Finally got McAfee concierge but neither of us can understand the rep's due to serious language barriers. Our Imac Pro 21 in. was accessed while in shop, (apparently via bluetooth. ) it had 10.5.8 the gentlemen kindly installed 10.6.3, but some how, it now comes up with prompt for user name and password which we never set. Apple sent us a cd, and NOTHING happens with "c" etc. We are both soooo frustrated. Id be willing to barter use of cd for some info. Our imac was purchased from a local univ. its old, (from 2006) but was super fast and perfect for iphone and ipad backup (which are all "disabled" somehow. ) been speaking with a CEO from Apple as we have not had luck @ the apple genius bar. Phone reps are great, but here in Vegas, employees just don't seem to care. sigh. Thank you to all and any that have advice on this. Message me here or find me on Google+ We also have windows issues and we are now on our 4th BRAND NEW windows laptop. Threw router away, got another, increased security, etc. Ran scans of windows machines, while hubby was out, left A note not to use computer till I could submit the file to someone more knowledgeable here, and oops, he didn't see it. Deleted a few things, but fortunately I found the backups. New phone stolen day before yesterday, looks like I'm on a roll. LOL....Any takers???? Appreciate anyone reading this.
