SoftICE error

I am running Windows XP Professional SP2 and using Compuware DriverStudio 3.1 and whenever I try to run SoftICE it gives me the error "Error code 31 A device attached to the system is not functioning. Please check the Event Viewer for more information" I checked Device Manager and many drivers aren't functioning correctly, and Windows can't seem to find updates for them. Should I format my computer and reinstall Compuware DriverStudio 3.1? Or should I try to reinstall all the drivers manually? Or is there some setting I need to tweak in SoftICE?

All drivers installed properly, and yet I still get the same error message. :tazz:
