Intel® NUC i7 Kit NUC5i7RYH

Intel NUC i7 won't startup.  I just purchased the Intel® NUC i7 Kit NUC5i7RYH with the following components:

1. PNY 16 Gb 2x8 Duel Channel Memory Kit
2. Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500 Gb M.2
3. Samsung SSD 850 Pro 1 Tb 2.5" SATA

I connected the NUC to my video display with a mini-HDMI adapter to a standard HDMI cable.  I also have a USB mouse and a USB keybord.  With all the components safely installed into the NUC and all the peripherals connected, I pushed the on button.  The on button keeps blinking with a blue light, but there is no bootup display on my monitor.  My monitor says that there is no connection, but I has already tested the HDMI cable to my display by using my laptop.

With all the components installed the NUC i7 doesn't startup.  The on button just keeps on blinking.

What can I do to resolve this; otherwise, I have to return everything back to the store for a refund?

:welcome: PC Genie

What pattern of blinks are you seeing, 3 blinks, then a pause, then 3 blinks again? or continuous blinking?

Please give the product code for the Memory.

Gday.

You did not respond to my questions after asking for help.   Have you solved your problem?   An update would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I went through all the testing procedures, I rechecked the specification requirements and I made several trips to the store to purchase the memory and hard drives that comply with the NUC's strict specifications.  The unit worked long enough for me to install Windows from a flash drive, but when I was installing the NUC's motherboard drivers the computer did an unrecoverable crash.  The system would not work and the computer would not recover.  I returned the computer and all components to the store, because their refund policy had a limited time for returns.

I know that there are other manufacturers who make a similar unit, but I think that I need to see more popularity in their use before I invest more time, money and struggle to build one of these again.

You replies are appreciated, but even though I've built many of my own desktop computers in the past; this one was too fussy in its requirements to make building it an enjoyable experience.
