Youtube not working

Since about 6 months I've had this problem with youtube not playing any videos. Tried a couple of forums already without success, hopefully someone here can help me.

So whenever I try to open the home page, this is what I see:




As you can see, most images are not displayed properly although for some videos I can still an image, for example:










Now, when I try to open a video, I see the following:







Which basically means the video is unavailable...

I have ofcourse already tried a couple of things myself. I tried deleting all cookies, history etc. several times without any result.

I use google chrome, but the same problem occurs when I use IE or firefox.

I use adblock, but even when adblock is disabled the same thing happens.

Both my java and flashplayer are up to date, the weird thing is that other video site (for example dailymotion, vimeo) work perfectly fine, which wouldn't be the case if any of these were not up to date.


Does someone here have any idea/suggestions on what to do? Highly appreciated!

Reset your router to factory settings.



Reset your hosts files to default.
