Did that, same thing.
I took some before and after screens. Looks like "Atheros" is the driver, hence why it didn't show TPLink in the list.

It is possible for the wrong drivers to be installed for a device and that could be what has happened here, your screencaps show TP-Link drivers from 2011 and the the Atheros copyright dates 2001-2010 but the latest drivers for the card are dated 06/05/14 btw we cant see what devices are installed in Device Manager in your second screencap.
Not heard from you for a while, do you still require assistance or is the issue now resolved, an update would be appreciated.
Just going to wait until Windows 10 (2 more weeks from now) comes out and do a fresh install. Hopefully that solves a few issues.
Thanks for the update
When you say that you will do a fresh install do you mean a full format and clean install of Windows 10 from disk or USB, whichever way you do it, fingers crossed for you and let us know how it goes.
NB: Hopefully Windows 10 will have its own newer drivers that will work with the card but I must mention that if it does not it may load drivers that you have previously tried and these may be as far back as being for Vista.
Yup, completely fresh install with a wiped partition. Looking forward to starting over and installing new programs
Hopefully this solves some issues. I'll update this thread once I've done the upgrade.
Thanks for the update and best plan of action me thinks
