Hi,

I have an ongoing problem with the speed on the Internet.

The company technicians are coming on Wednesday to check out the problem but if anyone has any ideas?

32Ms   12.66Mbps   30.86Mbps    18.26hrs

33Ms     11.72Mbps   0.86Mbps   01.08hrs

32Ms   3.91Mbps   0.75Mbps      12.32hrs

32Ms  2.92Mbps   0.77Mbps      13.35hrs

27Ms    2.29Mbps  0.77Mbps     18.07hrs

26Ms   2.17Mbps  0.86Mbps      00.18hrs

34Ms  4.07Mbps  0.74Mbps       17.33hrs

32Ms  12.24Mbps  0.87Mbps     17.40hrs

31Ms   11.91Mbps  0.85Mbps     00.07hrs

This is a typical selection of speeds which I am keeping records of for the Internet companies techs.

I use  http://www.speedtest.net/  as the techs have asked me too.

Regards

Hi Rej,

At this time the Tech might have fixed the problem.

It appears that by going back from my house to the Exchange he has found various problems with connections and at the main Exchange he has put my phone line on a different 'Port'.

I was getting the usual run-a-round from the Support people who, I think, just read from a book until one chap decided to upgrade the problem to the Techs.

So for now this is solved, I hope, and the latest speed reading is

27Ms   13.10Mbps   0.86Mbps

Perhaps the Moderators could start a Gripe for the Week section.

Regards
