Can you help me get this game to run on my grandsons lappy, he's running win 8!  The game installs ok, and when you re-insert disk you get the 'install/play option screen.  when 'play' is selected, you get a small window which requests the original cd.  BUT IT IS the original cd, I install ed game on my winxp machine with no probs at all, so it's win 8's fault!! I tried to use a nocd patch but that didn't work either, coming up with can't find 'mss32.dll, when I downloaded and installed the dll I got a different message, which claimed part of the dll was missing, (obviously outdated file), Need help really, running out of ideas

I'm no pro (just a user looking for help here myself), but since you said that the game installs OK, have you tried running it in Compatibility Mode, be it for XP or whatever else the computer suggests?  I only suggest that because it's helped me run programs I wasn't able to run otherwise, and thought it would be worth a shot, if you haven't already tried.
