Hello i have a HP Pavilion 17 e118nr with windows 8.1 pro. I have a virus that is taking it over. It told me i have to pay money to get my files back becuase they were encrypted. I have a lot of knoledge with computers but have no clue how to fix this problem the way i need to... I dont have any blank cds or windows cds, no flash drives, no nothing. I also tried to restore it through windows and system restore but they messed up my restore point.. And they encripted my windows reset files. All i need help with is getting rid of this [bleep] virus. This is what my task manager looks like.... http://prntscr.com/7qry6e. I have a pretty beefy laptop and for all of it to be at almost 100 at all times. I cant really do much on it except browse the internet ( which is still a pain in the a$$ to do ) I dont care about the encripted files either their all usless to me

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

• Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
• Select additions at the bottom
• Press Scan button.
  
• It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.
• Please attach both logs generated.
