:tazz: I hope that I now have the correct spot. My apologies for any confusion. Below is the hijack this log for my computer. I did all the neccesary clean-up, etc. My problems include windows update error message , trend chip away virus detector somehow now appears at startup, illegal operation errors in Ie, IE message to connect to internet while I am already connected (I am on braodband)...have had computer to doctor and "nothing seems to be wrong". I am getting quite frustrated. I appreciate any help available. thanks.
