Hi there just joined the site and this is my first modern build. Just got my case this morning and I've got everything in it, but once I turn it on the fans and psu power up. Then I just shuts down. I'll put specs bellow. A much appreciated if anyone helps. I missing pv gaming even tho I was using laptops before hand

Intel i5 lga 1155 cpu
Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 motherboard
Corsair cx750 psu
8gb ram

Just left me know of any other components if you need them. Thanks

I wonder if the CPU is getting too hot?  What thermal paste did you use between the CPU and the heatsink?

Had the same problem with my new build, that when you hit the power button the fans would come on for couple seconds then the computer would shut down. Found out that my dual fans on the radiator were plugged into the wrong fan connector. I would go back and check all your wiring and connectors make sure non are cross wrong, and see if that helps.
