Hey it's Naima.

Don't know if this question is in the right area but....

Two days ago, I worked on a 200 page document that I had "ENCRYPTED" using Windows 7 Professional. I saved it.

This morning I had to "Fresh Install" (a reinstall) of my PC because of a virus/hacker scare.

Now I need to open my document but it considers this a brand new computer and won't open.  I keep getting

"access denied."

THE KICKER...several other files on my computer (ALSO ENCRYPTED) are opening with no problems just fine.
They are older and were not recently opened, however. But still, they're GREEN in the same computer.

Please help...

I really cannot recreate this document over again. I truly need someone to tell me how to make the file open.

MY HUSBAND used to do it...so I know it can be done.

Give a check in the file properties>Security if your user have Full control on this file if not grant your user Full control on it. And then try opening the file.
