I didn't participate in Win 10 Insider, but got hooked with some surreptitiously installed updates.  I uninstalled about 6 that were published and still am not clean of the Win 10-like updates.  My Windows Update program has deleted my entire update history and is installing updates without permission.  I thought I saw a program that would do this removal, but I fear that it will mess up everything.  I know this 'bug' is embedded into my Win 7 Pro OS somehow.  Has a Tool been made that can do this that hasn't been scuttled by MS?  I have looked through a lot of posts, but find no mention of it.

I followed KYHI's instructions here to get rid of it until I wanted it.
