I am currently trying to set up Shoutcast. When i startup the Shoutcast server it tells me that the server can't connect because i'm behind a firewall. I turned my firewall off and i'm still getting the same message. So i phoned BT and they gave me some instructions. They told me to type in the ip of my router and open ports from the page. The ports needed are 8000-8001. When i try to activate these ports, the page tells me that another application is using these ports. Please someone help me, i've been trying to figure this one out for quite a long time now.
