When I scan with Pest Patrol it shows the pest ANTIVIRUSGOLD. If I delete or quarantine it it is back when I reboot.
The entry it shows is in the registry as
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\ext\stats\{72267f6a-a6f9-11d0-bc94-00c04fb67863}

Adaware, Spyware Doctor or Microsoft Antispyware do not detect this pest.

Is this harmful, should it be removed and if so how?

Any ideas appreciated
