connect PC to Sony Bravia 4k tv

Hi does anyone have any idea how I can do this, there is no DVI socket on the tv and it is Twin AMD R9 290 cards I have in the PC.

Hi sorry for not getting back to you, but as for the problem I have heard somewhere that it is because the HDMI on the tv is not compatible with the HDMI from the AMD graphics cards and I don't want to try incase I damage the tv.

no idea where or who you got that info from but "hdmi" is a "standard" so any device with an hdmi connection can safely be connected to any other device with a hdmi connection.. be that using a normal or mini hdmi connector.

you won't damage the tv connecting any graphics card to it via hdmi, my connection is actually a dvi to hdmi connection, pc to tv, because my card doesn't have a hdmi connection.

 

both dvi and hdmi are digital signals and is why i can connect my pc to my tv without any problems.

 

some help links where people finally connected the same graphics card to their tv's via hdmi.
