OK I got the answer... The stupiest thing... start AS AN ADMINISTRATOR!!! That's all. Win win 7,8 and 10 it is always a good way to start. Thanks for your good work anyway. Go to the full post »

Hello,

I am trying to install an older (2004) Autocad program on a win 10 machine. I get the error missing ac1st16.dll when I start the program.

I would love to install this old program because it work with an other program which was discontinued and which like.

Is it possible to make it work on win 10 or is the ac1st16.dll error just a tell-tell sign.

Thanks

Hello I found the answer: Start AS AN ADMINISTRATOR! And it worked.

With win 7, 8 and now 10 it is almost always the problem.

Thanks for your good work anyway.
