I have a HP Pavillion p6-2326s Windows 10. My monitor is connected to a VGA to DVI adaptor, connect to the DVI on the motherboard. The monitor/VGA cable works on another PC. The display does not work on this desktop.
Can I use a usb to vga adaptor for the monitor. Will this work?
Thanks

:welcome:   eroust,

Such a device will work as long as you have a working USB 2.0 or above port available, please note that they are not recommended for gaming only desktop and browsing type use, an example here pay particular attention to the manufacturer description and features information.

  • Optimal performance at 1440x900 (higher resolutions supported) and ideal for use with 17 inch to 19 inch monitors or smaller.
