In one of our LN application databases I noticed that 47 dox have been deleted. I check the log.nsf miscellaneous  and I do not find it.  Then File, Database, properties , user details again nothing. Any suggestion where I could look to get this answer? We still use the default logging of Domino 5.0.11
Thanks!

I see that identically worded posts have also been made to these sites at around the same time as the post was made here.

I also see that an identically worded post was made here:

However the above identically worded post was made 12 years ago....( and answered!)

Its fairly rare for Lotus notes and  Domino/Windows servers to be used on a home and personal network network! ( see our terms of use... extract set out below.)

  1. Geeks to Go is a family friendly site, accessible to anyone 13 years of age and older. Please keep all content appropriate.
  2. We offer free computer help and tech support for home and personal use. We are not here to support others that work for profit, or to support/replace your company's IT department.

So you may need to consult your IT department or consultant for assistance..... however if you have enabled "auditing" on Windows server you may be in luck...... otherwise you will need to invest in some software (readily available at a price through your search engine) or some forensic investigations which could prove to be rather expensive especially if it is intended to use the information for evidential purposes.

The only real clue you have is UNID, and to match that UNID to the original doc, you would need to pull a backup that still has that doc.
Note that THERE ARE NO LOGS SHOWING DELETION.  Deletion is always considered a regular document WRITE in teh log (activity log, user usage, database usage, Misc. events).  the only exception is the replicator, which notes deletions separately.  If this database replicates frequently, you canuse the replication period to narrow the time when deletions mayhave occured, and match that up against use usage... and against other replications, because the deletion could have come from another replica copy as well.
