Hello jola06smith,

I was told I have koobface by a Microsoft certfied tech...at 855-472-9850.

The number 1-855-472-9850 pop-up is classified as a fake tech scam, which is designed by scammers to promote their paid support services and products. Actually, this pop-up is caused by an adware or a potentially unwanted program (PUP) currently infecting your entire system without your notice.

Post the required logs in the Malware removal forum and someone will assist you.
