windows 10 wont activate

I had some problems on hard drive so decided to take computer back to factory settings which removed the windows 10 upgrade

After reinstalling 10 over windows 8 I now get windows wont activate. Can anyone help

How did you do the upgrade from Windows 8 to Windows 10? What method did you use. If you followed instructions, please post a link to them.
